I purchased these skates for my 13 y/o. She wears a woman's 9 or 10 shoe size. The size 8 in this skate, they fit her perfectly with room for her favorite skating socks. I followed the advice of the other reviewers and I am glad I did. Order a size or two down. She told me the skate is very comfortable she loves the style. I might order a pair soon myself.
