I had purchased the small and had to return it for the medium. Fits perfect. I am a size 4 to 6 and I do have some room for growth but I wear it down on my hips and I love the way it stays in place, even running 1/2 marathons. The water flasks are sufficient for me but if you run more than 13.1, you may want to consider the 4 flask.
