Discount GoFit Chin-Up Bar

Ok well I used to do pull ups in my garage on a self made pull up bar... it worked great but I always had to go outside to do them, and now that winter is coming... it's not practical.

So I looked for an in-home bar, and I've read many reviews before deciding on this one. I must say it's better than I expected. I use this bar with P90X. It is extremely steady due to the new hexagonal bracket design on each side... this prevents the bar from rotating/spinning unlike the previous circular design... and it does not shake left or right even if you try to shake it. I also feel very safe using it because the brackets that hold it are secured with 10 screws total. No way they'd all break at once... and the fact that the bar is steel also helps releave my mind lol. Says it can support 400 lbs... I believe it. Another thing is, the soft paddings can be moved and placed anywhere on the bar, so you can do wide grip pull ups/chin ups or close grip or anything in between.

It's great that it can extend into the right length for your doorway, so you know it will fit as long as your doorway is within the range the company provided. The toughest part probably was the set up (and I think this is where most of the negative comments came from)... had to call my uncle for help. He set it up in about 10 minutes. I did do all the measurments before he came and had it all drawn out on the doorway... all he had to do was drill it in. Once you're done setting up though, you've got nothing to worry about. I personally never removed it ever since it was set up. I'm 6'2" and I never hit it with my head, nor do I try to avoid it. It's only 3 inches below the top of the doorway. Not a big obstruction.

I am very pleased with it. I no longer have to leave the house while doing my workouts. It's right here in my room, everytime I walk by it I do a few pull ups. Perfect product.Get more detail about GoFit Chin-Up Bar.
