If you just need a towel to soak up sweat during hot yoga, this would be a good buy. However, if you are looking for a towel that won't slide around on your mat, take a pass on this one and buy a Yogitoe's towel instead. Since I bought both, I just use this one next to my mat so that I don't have to touch the carpet on extended side poses.
